Terms & Conditions

Last updated: June 29, 2026

1. Who we are

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you and GeoCrew ("GeoCrew", "we", "us"), the operator of the GeoCrew field-operations service available at geocrew.org and related applications (the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility and account

You must be at least 18 years old and, if you register on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business to these Terms. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Licence

GeoCrew grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for your internal business or personal field-operations use, within the limits of the plan you have purchased.

4. Acceptable use

You must not, and must not permit others to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, harassing, or deceptive purpose;
  • upload, transmit, or generate content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • send spam, malware, or otherwise interfere with the security or integrity of the Service;
  • probe, scan, scrape, or attempt to circumvent any technical limits, rate limits, or access controls;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code, except where permitted by law;
  • resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit the Service outside of your subscription.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the jobs, customer details, photos, and other content you submit to the Service ("User Content"). You grant GeoCrew a limited, worldwide licence to host, process, transmit, and display User Content solely as necessary to provide the Service and to improve reliability and safety.

6. Intellectual property

GeoCrew and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all software, documentation, branding, and AI-generated assistance features. No rights are granted to you except as expressly set out in these Terms.

7. AI features

The Service includes AI-generated supervisor briefs and conversational guidance. You are responsible for the prompts you submit and for how you use any output. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date and is provided for general informational use only — it is not a substitute for licensed professional, legal, safety, or regulatory advice. You must verify outputs before acting on them and must not use the AI features to generate unlawful, harmful, or infringing content. We may remove or restrict content and may refuse, filter, or moderate outputs at our discretion.

8. Payments, subscriptions, and taxes

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual cycle and renew automatically until cancelled. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms in addition to these Terms.

9. Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on paid plans. See our Refund Policy for details and how to request a refund through Paddle.

10. Service availability

We work to keep the Service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly accurate operation. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, present a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our policies. You may stop using the Service at any time by cancelling your subscription. On termination, your right to use the Service ends. We will provide a reasonable window to export your User Content, after which it may be deleted.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GeoCrew's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid to GeoCrew (via Paddle) in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold GeoCrew harmless from any third-party claim arising out of your User Content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which GeoCrew is established, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Disputes will be brought in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
